Majors and Programs

The College of Agriculture, Health and Natural Resources offers 16 baccalaureate majors, various minors, and a variety of pre-professional programs and tracks. Students in most majors are permitted latitude in the choice of courses and may emphasize a range of options, including pre-requisite coursework for graduate and professional studies. We also offer three Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degrees within our Ratcliffe Hicks School of Agriculture.

Please explore the major and program options in the menu above. To view course requirements for each major, view our Plans of Study page. If you are interested in a major/program, you can find the academic department contact information in the menu above.

To understand the difference between programs, majors, double majors, additional degrees, and minors, please view our Degree Options page.

Students who are residents of Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, or Vermont may be eligible for reduced tuition to certain majors through the New England Regional Student Program. Get an overview of how the program works by visiting the New England Board of Higher Education website.
